Legal authorities report that a ex- physician now faces charges for carrying out sexual assaults against 38 victims who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of sexual offences – some of which involve acts against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
A senior prosecutor commented, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Police Inquiry
The charges follow what police called a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

Prosecutors said the forty-five sexual offences comprise:
- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
